Last week Kelly and the kids came over to Boise for a couple days during Spring Break. We toured the newly restored Idaho State Capitol Building.

Fiesta Bowl 2010 - BSU v. TCU
Terry & Josh at the Portland airport on their way to Glendale, Arizona. We went over for the New Year's weekend. Sheri stayed home with Kelly and the kids while the men "played".

They met up with Jack, Jimmy, Josh and Raleigh to enjoy the game.

But before the action started, they enjoyed tail-gating with Bob, Carol, Ted and David - enjoying hot dogs and of course, Tostitos tortilla chips!

The American Flag at the beginning of the game and the eagle being let go to fly around the stadium was a real highlight.

The game was a good one with Boise State winning 17-10 and we'll definitely take the title of an unbeaten season of 14-0.

Early Christmas
Last Friday we had our family Christmas at the Oxford Suites in Pendleton, Oregon. Josh, Kelly, Skyler, Conner & Chloe drove 3 hours from Gresham and Terry, Sheri, Dusty, Kara & Ezra drove 3 hours from Boise. We went to a local restaurant and enjoyed dinner.

We had the hotel indoor swimming pool all to ourselves. Ezra took his first swim but didn't really like all the splashing that was going on around him. The boys played keep-away and Chloe & Terry hung out in the hot tub!

Kelly decided not to swim and be the family photographer.

We had adjoining rooms so it made it easy for us to hang out together. The kids opened some presents, watched a Christmas movie and we all played a couple games of Uno attack.

Of course, we needed to get a photo of Pop and Gram and the grandkids in front of the tree. Skyler, Conner & Chloe enjoyed playing with Ezra and holding him.

We awoke Saturday morning to snow falling and decided that we should all get on the road as soon as possible. We enjoyed breakfast together and then headed out on our return trips tback home.

The Boise group encountered snow most of the way home and the Gresham group had black ice and freezing rain on their way home, so our return trips were somewhat hazardous but we all made it safely back. We had a wonderful time as a family enjoying a relaxing, early Christmas together.

Oregon Galgan's Come to Boise

Josh, Kelly, Skyler, Conner & Chloe joined up with us in Boise this month for a few days. We did some swimming, did some seadooing and jetskiing at Lucky Peak. The boys did some fishing at the lake and Skyler caught a beauty Bass but it was just under the legal limit so we had to let him go.
Did some relaxing and enjoyed having all the kids and grandkids home together for meals and fun times.

The family took in the BSU game to watch Boise State beat the Oregon Ducks - YEAH Go Broncos! Sheri "Gram", Chloe & Ezra stayed home and watched it on TV.

More of Conner's Visit
While Conner was in Boise visiting us - we went fishing, went to the City Street Fair where Conner got to assist a magician with a ball trick, swimming in our friend's pool, more fishing, went to PoJo's where Conner played arcade and video games - he actually won 250 tickets on one game with a VERY lucky shot!
