Skyler's Continued Visit

Skyler turned 9 years old on Monday - We hit the movies, had a great time at WaHooz playing video games, driving the go-karts, swinging at softballs in the batting cage, eating pizza and having birthday cake. He even spent time holding his new cousin, Ezra.

Tuesday we fished at two different ponds (he caught 15 fish but had to throw them all back because they were too small to keep) he has a great cast! Tonight we went to our church - The Pursuit - for the House of Heros concert. Terry and I were actually the oldest people there but we enjoyed it with Skyler and he liked the band even though our ears are still ringing 2 hours later!

Unfortunately, we have to take him back to Gresham tomorrow. It's been a great 8 days and can't wait to do it again! We'll be anxiously waiting for Conner's visit for a week in August!!

Skyler Visiting For The Week (Rodeo & Fishing)

Skyler is here for the week - spent Friday night at the Snake River Stampede - his first live rodeo! Skyler especially like the Mutton Busting, Brono and Bull riding. More exciting things in the works for the rest of the visit.

We spent Sunday morning up at Lucky Peak where the boys did some fishing and seadooing. We decided since it was suppose to be in the 100's that we'd take advantage of the nice 80 degree weather and go out early. We hit church at the 5:00 pm service on "lake days"

Ezra James Hamlin

Ezra James Hamlin was born last night, July 3, 2009 at 10:35 pm - 7 lbs. 1 oz. Just 1 1/2 hours early for his due date! Everyone is doing fine and Dusty and Kara are very proud parents. Ezra looks a lot like Dusty as a baby - olive skin and black hair - he has a little cleft in the middle of his chin which is distinct to Kara's family. Such a cutie! Don't know why the hospital has him in a pink and white blanket - that has got to change!!
